We maintain a growing database of holidays, national days and observances — from Christmas and Thanksgiving to National Coffee Day — and turn each one into a fast, clean page with a live countdown.

How it works

The site is fully static: dates are computed from rules (fixed dates, nth-weekday patterns, Easter arithmetic and published lookup tables), rendered ahead of time, and corrected to your local timezone in the browser. That is why pages load in a blink and keep working even when servers take a coffee break.

Keeping it honest

All descriptions are written in-house and reviewed for accuracy. Holiday dates are checked against authoritative sources before each year is published. If you spot a mistake, tell us — we fix dates fast.
